In collaboration with Danbag Paper Solutions A/S, Design has gained access to an abundance of paper that would otherwise have been discarded. Every year, 10% - 110 tons – of Danbag’s paper production ends up as waste – a resource that in this project has been turned into designs inspired by the four basic elements: fire, air, water and earth. Over several weeks, the team has experimented with interpreting, shaping and transforming the paper, resulting in a broad collection of works.
